Published DTV checklists commonly refer to financial evidence of at least THB 500,000 or a stated local-currency equivalent, but the required statement period, acceptable account type and treatment of sponsor or joint funds can differ by post. The evidence should show the applicant's control of accessible funds and a credible history, not merely a screenshot of a sufficient number.

Documents and practical preparation
An official statement should identify institution, account holder, account number in a safe masked form, currency, period, transactions and closing balance. Explain large recent credits with transfer records and source documents. Where the account is joint or not solely controlled, address ownership and access expressly rather than expecting the reviewer to infer it.
Limits and decisions to check
The THB figure is not a published promise of approval and should not be described as a fee or deposit paid to Thailand. Currency movement can reduce an apparent equivalent. Borrowed money, temporary transfers, crypto screenshots and unsupported app balances may not answer ownership, liquidity or history questions even if their face value is high.
TVC's practical assessment
We prepare DTV finances as a source-and-control narrative. The number is the conclusion, not the opening argument. When account ownership, normal cash flow and any large credit are explained, the balance becomes credible; when they are not, adding more screenshots simply repeats the uncertainty.
Is a high income enough if the bank balance fell during the statement period?
Income evidence does not automatically replace a required balance. Washington's current DTV checklist asks for the last three months of statements with the required ending balance in each month. If a month's balance was below that post's threshold, explain the record and obtain current case-specific guidance before reapplying; a later deposit or a high salary does not erase the earlier statement. Other posts' periods and accepted evidence must be checked separately.
